With Speaker Sessions 2 & 3 in mind, this session is designed to help housing practitioners identify with new clarity the ways in which white supremacy manifests in their attitudes and practices.

How can Vermont’s housing organizations and system move from the inheritance of slavery?

Desired Outcomes:
For housing practitioners to develop a clear understanding of and language to discuss racism and anti-racism:
● To identify key challenges faced by their organizations.
● To explore alternative systems for resolving conflicts within their communities, such as restorative justice models, including innovative staff development resources and opportunities to improve cultural competence.
