We are halfway through the first Vermont League of Cities and Town’s Welcoming and Engaging Communities cohort. A massive thank you to Brandon, Hartford, Hinesburg, Jericho, Middlebury, Putney, Richmond and Williston for being a part of this project. We are paving the way!
Each town has conducted an Inclusion and Belonging survey. This was completed by a range of municipal stakeholders, from employed staff, elected officials, appointed official, volunteers and interns. Earlier in January, we presented the aggregated results of all of the eight towns to them. Each town was then given its individual Inclusion & Belonging results. Strategy-building to leverage positive positions, and to make improvements is underway!
This cohort ends in March 20th, 2023. We look forward to telling you the story of what we will have achieved. It is our hope that the works continues well into the future.
