Hello! I’m Chol, a compassionate community advocate, with a data-driven approach to community development. I play many roles that are centered upon uplifting the visibility, voices and prosperity of community members. I am deeply committed to public service, and provide leadership and support to a variety of businesses. In my early days, I am proud to have been honored as a Vermont Rising Star.
I have a strong marketing and communications background. Within this capacity I work with digital managers and advertising staff to coordinate all event planning and related logistics. I also explore and create opportunities for organizational partnerships and collaboration on strategic projects.
I am effective in creating sustainable communities, and in transforming views and practices on race and related dynamics. I believe that when these outstanding social issues are addressed, that racially and culturally marginalized communities can succeed and feel valued in all spaces defined by race, power, wealth, gender, class and opportunity.
I hold a B.A. in Economics and a Master’s in Public Health. I also hold a Certificate in Leadership and sit on the Boards of various organizations.
